Me + Big Sis, Joining Forces...

As I was reading over my posts I can't help but notice how bad my writing is...it sounds stiff and unatural, maybe that's why I'm so focused on images, I express myself better that way. My sister suggested that I write like I speak. And I'm going to try and do just that.

So like I said we have recently moved back to my homeland, South West France. My sister Seren, who is also a photographer, set up her own business here a couple of years ago. Seren is one of thos poeple that you would rarely come across. She has a huge personality, she is HILARIOUS, honest, amazingly creative and immensely driven. Mother of 2, she decided only a couple of years ago to make her life long dream come true: to make a living as a poeple photographer.

Seren and I share the same dream. Which is why we are joining forces and are creating our own name in Europe. In the US where I will be travelling to 4 times this season, I keep my name and my website. For Europe, Seren and I will have our new site up soon...I'm really looking forward to sharing it with you!!!!!

A walk around Rieux en Val I Aude, South of France I Feb 23, 2011

Pierre and I, like I told you, live in France part time and part time in California. We just moved to a beautiful village called Rieux en Val, in an area called the 'Val de Dagne' in South West France. I am familiar with this area as I spent my childhood here. Rieux is known for it's Roman bridge. I took a walk with my camera after lunch today to show you just how amazing this bridge is! The wind was blowing in the trees, slowly pushing the clouds away. Winter is a very quiet time of year here, and I love it...I think we moved about 7 times in 5 years, and we think we have finally found our nest.

WEDDING I Sarah & Mathieu I Toulouse, France I February 3, 2011

I shot this small, intimate wedding with my sister Seren who is herself a very talented "up and coming" photographer in the South of France. From now on, Seren and I will often be working as a team...I think that joining our forces and talent will propell us forward in our efforts to reach the STARS!!!! Sarah and Mathieu's wedding was the first wedding we shot together. We had a blast, and it felt we had been shooting together our whole lives. At least half of these photos were taken by Seren. Just to be clear, Pierre and I now live part time in beautiful South of France, part time in our beloved California. Best of both worlds!!!!
