Monday, February 1, 2010 at 07:55PM Since we moved to Tahoe, skiing has become part of our daily routine...when I'm not shooting or editing, I'm skiing. With Pierre. It's that simple. I'm kind of like the puppy that follows Pierre's every turn. Pierre was born on the slopes, and grew up on the slopes in France. This is my first time living in the mountains, and I have a long ways to go before I would post photos of myself skiing. Pierre is my full time ski instructor. Lucky me...well...except when we go down double diamonds and I get stuck in the middle, he can get really mean and impatient, like the quintessential strict teacher who everyone is afraid of, don't tell him I said that. One could say I'm the boss when it comes to shooting, he's the boss when it comes to skiing. Here are just a few of Pierre doing his thing on our 4th day on the slopes.
Road Trip | Moab Desert, UTAH | Dec 1-5 2009
Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 04:31PM Pierre and I decided to hit the road early December to go on a road trip through Utah. We have a good friend that lives in the Wasatch mountains above Salt Lake City that we went to visit first for a few days, and then we headed down to the amazing and unbelievable Moab desert in South Utah. I'm a big fan of vast open spaces, and the colors as the sun was going down, were out of this world. I had a great time simply shooting through the window as we were driving. We hiked from sunrise to sunset through the desert the next day. The beauty and atmosphere of this place is so daunting, one could almost sense the presence of spirits and angels...
Thanksgiving | Solitude, UTAH | Nov 26, 2009
Monday, November 30, 2009 at 09:00PM Thanksgiving in Solitude Utah, Wahoo! I took a few shots to capture the awesome vibe of hanging out with real mountaineers. Our friend Jared (the one with the moustache) invited us to spend Thanksgiving with him and his buddies. They've become our buddies too, since we've been coming regularly for 4 years now. Most of this crew is part of the Solitude resort SKI PATROL. Needless to say, they like to party and so do we!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
