A walk around Rieux en Val I Aude, South of France I Feb 23, 2011
Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at 11:12AM Pierre and I, like I told you, live in France part time and part time in California. We just moved to a beautiful village called Rieux en Val, in an area called the 'Val de Dagne' in South West France. I am familiar with this area as I spent my childhood here. Rieux is known for it's Roman bridge. I took a walk with my camera after lunch today to show you just how amazing this bridge is! The wind was blowing in the trees, slowly pushing the clouds away. Winter is a very quiet time of year here, and I love it...I think we moved about 7 times in 5 years, and we think we have finally found our nest.

I'm glad to hear you like this village. We are Belgian and think about buy a land there and build a little house on it. Perhaps we 'll meet you in Rieux.
